In Your Eyes is a publication highlighting the consistent media criticisms on trans people and their rights. The misinformation and fear mongering the media and news outlets generate is extremely harmful to the trans community, causing rising tensions and the rights of transgender Canadians, especially the trans youth population, are at risk.

The book is french folded and saddle stitch bound on the loose ends on the pages with a bright red thread. The french fold requires a blade to expose the interior spreads, which hold sensitive and select photographs of trans people and their bodies. The french fold represents the violence and harm against the trans community and how the curiosity and ‘right to know’ about trans people's bodies causes direct impacts on both the individual and the trans community as a whole. The book is printed on vellum, a semi transparent and textured paper that allows small glimpses into what is on interior spreads, only enough to peak curiosity but not enough to expose the images, not without cutting into the spreads or disassembling the book.
